Long Trail Guide
The Green Mountain National Forest is one of the treasures of the State of Vermont. It covers almost two-thirds of the state. Its beauty is its main attraction. There are many recreational activities associated with the Green Mountain National Forest which include camping, swimming, fishing, boating and x-country skiing.
It is also the home of Vermont's famous Long Trail which crosses the state from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border.
